PanicVault lets you select multiple entries at once and act on them in bulk — useful when you need to move or delete a batch of entries. The way you enter multi-select differs between iOS and Mac, so both are covered below.
Bulk Select on iOS
- Tap the overflow menu (three dots) in the entry list toolbar
- Choose Select Entries to enter edit mode
- Tap entries to select or deselect them — a checkmark appears on each selected entry
- A bottom toolbar appears with bulk actions:
- Delete — moves all selected entries to the Recycle Bin
- Move — moves all selected entries to a group you choose
- Tap Done when finished to exit edit mode
Bulk Select on Mac
- Hold Cmd and click entries in the list to select multiple entries
- Right-click on the selection to open the context menu:
- Delete — moves all selected entries to the Recycle Bin
- Move to… — shows a submenu of groups to move the entries into
When multiple entries are selected, the detail pane shows the number of selected entries and provides bulk action buttons.
On Mac you can also drag a multi-entry selection straight onto a group in the sidebar — see Drag and Drop on Mac.
Tip
Bulk operations are a fast way to reorganize your vault — for example, selecting all your finance-related entries and moving them into a “Finance” group in one step.
